Today, March 31st, the Town of Mahone Bay proudly raised the Transgender Pride flag to celebrate Trans Day of Visibility.
This is a day to reflect on the progress made in advancing equity for the trans community, while also honoring the struggles, sacrifices, and accomplishments of those who have advocated--and continue to advocated--for gender equality. We take this day to uplift our transgender, non-binary and Two-Spirit people in our communities and thank them for the work they continue to do to positively impact our communities.
